Humans are made up of habits
which guide our life and shape our hearts
virtues & vices both daily rhythms in my life are
defined by these two types of liturgies

Every morning I wake up, and for my break-of-dawn prayer
I pour the hot water into my aero press
Hands wrapped around a mug, this drink is saying words i can't speak
A prayer lifted up in the steam
and it becomes

One not said with shut-eyes or folded-hands
But more hands up in surrender, saying,
